Happy Makes Mondays

Calling all the knitters, crocheters, sketchers, artists, crafters, makers and dabblers who want to try different things!

It is with the greatest pleasure I can invite you to Happy Makes Mondays, a new informal, friendly and fun group meeting in Preston each Monday.

Running along the lines as a knit and natter type meeting, but with more guidance, if needed. Feel free to bring your own project to work on or be inspired by the materials on offer. If you’re not sure where to start we can help you, or there are kits for sale.

Louise (owner of Ravenous) bakes for us and there’s plenty of homemade cake to choose from, including gluten free alternatives. The cafe is closed on Mondays so we have to place to ourselves.

Knit-along (optional)

Kits available for purchase

No need to book (but a good idea if you are travelling)

10% discount at Yarn Box on Preston Market (on presentation if discount card)
Also, to top it off, so many people have supported me with this journey and it feels right to give something back – so I’ll pledge to donate 10% of my profits to charity.

Where? Ravenous, Cannon Street

When? Mondays, 10am – 12pm

Cost? £10 including tea or coffee and scrummy homemade cake

No need to book

So far we have learnt needlefelting and have some fabulous sculptures. What’s next? You decide!

See you on Monday?

Having a bit of a spin. I don't make nice even yarn - I don't have the attention span for that - so I add bumpy bits and slubs to my yarn, and change colour frequently. It makes it a surprise when I ply.

Lovely weather so I've done most of it outside, listening to the birds.
