Description

These beautiful pendants started life as a large mixed media work on thick watercolour paper. I used collage, watercolour, wax crayons and pigment powders to make a large sheet, then carefully chose sections to develop further using heat embossing and drawing. Each design has been carefully chosen for the composition – they are miniature artworks and each is unique.

The pendants are made from a high quality metal alloy and silver or bronze plated. The top is a strong and solid glass tile. These are fairly robust, and I have slept in mine for several nights, but I wouldn’t advise wearing them in the shower or during swimming.  🙂

Choice of waxed black cotton cord, silver or bronze plated chain, or ribbon necklace. I chose what I thought suited the piece but if you would like to swap that’s fine.

5 different styles to choose from, in bronze or silver plating.

    • Circular – 22mm diameter
    • Teardrop – 22mm x 16mm at widest point
    • Fancy Frame – 30mm x 25mm at widest, including frame
    • Square – 22mm x 22mm
    • Heart – 22mm x 22mm at widest point

Includes a hand folded gift box.

Having a bit of a spin. I don't make nice even yarn - I don't have the attention span for that - so I add bumpy bits and slubs to my yarn, and change colour frequently. It makes it a surprise when I ply.

Lovely weather so I've done most of it outside, listening to the birds.
